All though they were close to 40 minutes late on our reservation (likely due to patio being closed because of rain) they made it up very quickly and provided a phenomenal experience. This is a night to remember here. Really great food and our server Dana was fun and made the evening even better. Great spot for an elevated dinner experience. The only downside is that the space itself is very tight and loud, too close to other tables. Other servers kept bumping and touching my chair throughout the night. Me and my wife have a luck of getting the worst tables in any restaurant we go to. In this one, it’s the table right in the middle of the little closed patio room. Great experience overall, highly recommend this place. Best $100 spent on a dinner.
I had a great first time visit to Spain Wine Bar. The atmosphere was cute and classy. Gorgeous water view. Our server, Paul really made our experience. He provided friendly, attentive service. We never had to hunt for him when we needed something. He was always nearby. Every tapa dish was great. Loved the bacon wrapped dates, Shrimp Gambia, and the Jamon croquettes to name a few. Great wine and cocktail selection.
This is an experience. Each sauce on every dish we have gotten has been amazing. Beautiful weather really added to the experience however we had also been here when it has rained. We enjoyed happy hour in the bar before sitting in the restaurant. We received a free anniversary dessert which was a nice touch. Not a fan of the 3.5% fee being included in the tax line and not separately stated. There is free available parking for the Wine Bar.
Had a great time here on Wednesday. We ended up having several tapas in addition to our charcuterie board but forgot to take pictures because it was so good lol. Highlights were the street corn, pork belly, and lamb chops. Great service at the bar, everyone made sure to keep checking on us. We were also really happy with the daily wine specials! It felt crazy to get a 2014 Rioja bottle for that price point, it truly felt like a special occasion.
Absolutely blown away by this place!! First time coming specifically for bottomless brunch (typically we have come for dinner and happy hour) and The food is out of this world amazing!!, Our server Paul was an absolute gem and we will be asking for him anytime we return! He truly made our morning. Not to mention the stunning panoramic views of OC just can’t be beat. No notes, 10 out of 10 would recommend every time.
Everything about our experience, we start to finish . We have been out of the country and we have had many different dinning experiences. However this was beyond our expectations. Ioan was beyond tentative And honestly made our first experience amazing. The food was a 10/10 we got the Valencia to share , Watermelon-cantaloupe salad and both tried a Apertif. If your looking for a great date night or even like we did with our daughter. This was a amazing experience.
Everything about Spain Wine Bar was amazing. Paul, our server, was so attentive and sweet. He is the best!!!! The tapas were so good (patatas bravas and the shrimp croquetas were to die for) and the Valencia paella, i have no words for. SOOO DELICIOUS! I definitely recommend if you want a nice sunset dinner with beautiful views and great food and service. I will be coming back!!!!
What a great experience! The view was absolutely beautiful, the waiter provided excellent service and the food was amazing. I had the lamb chops and shrimp tempura and both were so delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Between the incredible food, great service, and stunning view, this was a memorable dining experience. I would definitely come back!
We had an incredible experience here and can't recommend it enough. The food was outstanding, the views overlooking the bay were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere made for the perfect evening. What truly made the night special, though, was our server, Ioan. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday, and he went above and beyond from the moment we sat down. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making our evening memorable. It's rare to come across someone who takes that much pride in creating a great experience for their guests. To top it all off, he surprised us with a beautiful dessert that had "Happy Birthday" written on the plate, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration even more special. Exceptional food, amazing views, and some of the best service we've ever received. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to have Ioan as our server again!
The atmosphere is beautiful. It’s located on the top floor of the Cambria Hotel and every seat in the house has views of the bay. You’ll definitely want to take a picture. Our server, Dana, was phenomenal. I will request her next time I come back. She made the best recommendations. My favorite dish was the seafood paella. We paired it with the Lamb chops, & Short rib ravioli. Exquisite 🤌🏽
